Well the conversation surrounding the issue is that of race and the assumed injustice by the department for not arresting him on the scene or afterwards.
Many people are claiming that if the shooter was black he would've either been arrested or worse and "stand your ground" wouldn't even be a part to consider at all.
I'm framing it with the same racial tones that others are framing and referring to it as an action taken by a white man onto a black make that caused the death of said black man.
