I've always had a good work ethic, I don't complain, and I manage my money so that I get by without ever having been in debt or needing to borrow money.

As someone on financial assistance you really have no right to complain about anything; your life is paid for, if you don't have enough money it's because you're spending everything you get, and you can't earn more because you've locked yourself into assistance; you can't have both a job and free handouts, financial independance and growing savings/income comes from working a job and being responsible for yourself.

I know that jab at me was meant to stir me up, but I've been training again for summer and I don't have very much fat to lose.

If anything, my problem is that I'm too bulky from doing years of manual labour; what I really wish to do is somehow decrease my muscle mass through atrophy so that I can be slimmer. I weight a lot because I have two decades worth of active muscle tissue that keeps getting worked and used on a daily basis.

I've been the same weight for about 7-10 years without much fluctuation, and I just eat whatever; this has changed recently, I'm cutting out carbohydrates and sticking more to fresh meats (mostly fish) to change the balance between protein and carbohydrates- I want to start burning more, because my current mode has been carb energy storage to fuel my endurance and walking 10km+ a day. I want to throw off my entire routine and have less energy and feel unhealthy as I try to let my muscles atrophy for a better 'look'.
