Lots of stuff to try to fix your sleep. A few things that can fix constantly being tired and yet not managing to sleep:
- Never do anything in bed. Bed is for sex and sleep. Go lie down in a sofa during your day if you have to.
- Don't look at a screen for ~15min before bed, do something else, read a book, meditate. No exercise!
- There's relaxation/hyponosis videos on youtube to help you sleep, some work for me, it's not for everyone though. Keep in mind what works for others won't necessarily work for you, ASMR does nothing for me for example.

Sleeping pills should be a last resort only.
The more often you take them, the less effect they will have. If used very rarely (no more than once every few weeks) though, they'll have a wonderful effect when you do use them in my experience. They can really help with getting back on track, getting up early etc.
