I've seen the latter, K-ON never interested me in because the characters's behaviour seems more retarted than cute and I'm not really into that. I also tend to avoid shows that become extremely popular as they are often very disapointing and nowhere near as good as the fans claim it to be. I've also seen Tamako Market which was made by the same creators and that was not enjoyable at all.

Well, so far I've completed 250+ shows, I've seen all the well-known shit like Lain, Mushishi, Clannad, Welcome to the NHK, Haruhi etc. The only thing that I haven't watched yet that would fall in that category would be Gurren Lagann but I have no interest in watching a show like that right now. When it comes to CGDCT I've seen the worthwhile stuff like Yuru Yuri, Kiniro Mosaic, GochiUsa, Non Non and slightly more obscure things like Milky Holmes, Geijutsuka Art Design Class, Locodol and Kill Me Baby.
For now I'm probably just going to finish High School Fleet anyway because I don't like dropping shows and maybe watch Little Witch Academia after that but after that there isn't much interesting left for me to watch. I might just have to take a break from watching anime for a while to really get into it again.

I've already played Katawa Shoujo, it was a great experience and it was obvious that the creators put quite a lot of work in it, to me it actually looked more professional than some VNs made by actual Japanese studios. I might just have to replay that, Rin best girl by the way. I mostly liked Katawa Shoujo because there were serveral girls you could choose from who all had distinct personalities and the fact there were quite a lot of points where you could actually interact with the game when a lot of VNs seem to be just text with only a few moments of interaction.
Da Capo III seems interesting so I might give it a try.
