That's a good thing. CG isn't taking anything away from the medium, and will increasingly look superior (it already does but let's pretend.) Not only that, but as it's so cheap, studios will be able to produce varied shows that they previously wouldn't ever dream of because of the astronomical costs involved. This show, for example, just wouldn't be worth the costs if it were done in traditional 2d animation. Neither would Idol shows, Mecha shows, and I'm sure there are other genres I'm forgetting at the moment as well. All would be lost to time, or doomed to be singular titles/franchises endlessly rehashed, like Gundam or Love Live. CG is the miracle that gives options, variety, and freedom.
It becoming prevalent is a win-win! Let's all praise CG for bringing us into a revolutionary new world of anime.

Setting aside that you are pretty much completely WRONG, you must give allowance for a new and emerging technology. People are not yet skilled at implementing CG, but that will only improve as the years go on. High Score Girl looked great, to say nothing of the obvious example of Houseki no Kuni, or reaching further back, Etotama.
The future is bright with CG. I am convinced that the haters are low-level garbage that have only seen the absolute worst of it, such as Berserk, or any singular anime (except Love Live) that attempts to blend 2d and 3d.

it's been DECADES, ever since azumanga daioh in various forms the CGI creep has been real and yes there have been a few good examples among a sea of garbage but it's not a steady increase in quality - some studios improved in at least matching the fps of the 3d to the 2d (see full metal panic invisible war for comparison). on the other hand, you need look no further than golden kamuy from this season at its ugly cgi bears or goblin slayer's splicing in of computer-animated goblin slayer while they hand animated the rest of the cast, giving off the typical jarring contrast of fps for proof.
