Champloo is really good, it's on my recommend watch list. The rap music in the intro is done by Nujabes. The outro isn't rap and is a nice Japanese song, video related.

Nujabes himself is Japanese. He has worked with a Nig called Fat Jon for the vocals of Battlecry and for Nujabes' Luv Sic Album. Most of Nujabes songs are instrumentals. Champloo's credits theme Shiki no Uta is also done by Nujabes and the vocals are done by a Nip woman.
