I've watched the first season and read the manga. The anime has a god tier OP and ED, but the manga is far better. It has excellent humour and characters. It's somewhat like if Bleach were actually good.

Another cool thing was that Yato was basically Kenshin Himura as the Battousai during the feudal age. Would have liked to see him and Rabo fucking more shit up in the before time but oh well. Looking forward to S3.

I only watched the show, never read the mango.

I think the best way I can describe it was that it felt like what Bleach should've been. It never really fell into a rut with pacing, the aesthetic was good, and the threat of each fight felt real, without devolving into powerlevel shit.

If there's a s3 i'll watch it.
