I was very apprehensive about this, it being a continuation of something I loved over a decade and a half later and it being originally in English, but I think it came out pretty good. What do anons think about FCLC Progressive? Any hopes for Alternative?

It is a netflix abomination aimed at cashing in on the nostalgia of fat neckbeards. It is an abomination, though it is not bad and the people working on it clearly has respect for the IP. It still does not sit right with me.

I feel like they were a bit too explicit with the themes of growing up and the original went with more a of "show don't tell" approach, but it's also been ages since I've seen the original.

This is how I felt too before I watched it. I really expected nothing but a flaming pile of garbage that would completely ruin the old show and was pleasantly surprised to not get shit on a platter.
