How about a Broly Dark movie?

He could show up riding his motorcycle, gun down a whole school and then fight the Time Patrol with a katana.

Really, they should just make something fun. If being serious isn't viable anymore, just do stupid shit until even that stops working, even as a comedy. It takes commitment, though. If you're going to be stupid on purpose, you better go all out. Super was clearly just trying to be serious and goofy at the same time and failing at both for the most part.

The DBS manga confirmed that the Cell Juniors all survived Gohan because he didn't vaporize them like he did Cell, 17 found out they regenerated after the fight and took them in where they now help him protect Monster Island from poachers, with orders not to attack rangers.
