Do you think Invisible Victory will be any good? I've only read the original manga, so I'm not familiar with how the anime adaptions. Do they follow the same plot as the manga?
No.18748
Second season of the anime does the best adaptation. You should check that

I'll check that out, thanks. I lost interest in Sigma about 2 or 3 volumes in because of how serious it was compared to the first manga.

when you said shit CGI I was expecting berserk or souten no ken regenesis tier
honestly it wasn't that bad, they matched the fps well so it didn't look jarringly out of place
plus this episode gave us this scene of best girl

If you're gonna do CG, at least give us good framerate
No.23386

Both of you have a point.
The CGI was much better than the usual crap, but it still felt subpar compared to what hand-drawn animation could've given us. The car chase scene dragged on too long to the point where you could notice all the flaws in the CGI, like the lack of pedestrians in the CGI scenes and the bland background.
Overall, I'm enjoying it, but the CGI still detracts, just not as bad as Berserk tier shit.

The car chase sequence itself was really good, CGI aside. It was well choreographed.

I agree, the CG is fine. The physics of the Behemoth fight (when it collapsed under it's own weight from the failure of the Lambda drive) were really good. Really nice detail with a smooth framerate, too.

Am I the only one who isn't moved at all by Tessa's hissy fits? When she snaps (for Japanese standards at least) everyone acts like they are witnessing some infringement on the Geneva Convention of 1949.
I wanna see Tessa interrogate someone tied to a chair and shoot him in the kneecaps.
No.32304
>>32299
It's mostly just a joke. Her normal demeanor is calm and extremely formal, so it's "funny" (by Japanese standards).
The rest of her crew does the "shooting in the kneecaps" kind of work, and their shock is because of the fact that they see her as pure and innocent by comparison.
