I have the first fifteen or so books I gradually bought when I was very young and very poor in storage somewhere. I never managed to complete the set and now, having read it online, I lack the will to do so. Pretty good read and the live action movies are pretty fun.

It's not the same premise, it is a series of adaptations that was released in the west as a compelation film called Shogun Assassin.
