Unless it's a character you did on your own there will always somebody who wants to fuck your waifu as much as you do.

Maybe try to see purity as a spectrum instead of an absolute state. That might open up some possibilities.

I would like to revive this thread because I have the same problem, but for different reasons. For me, there just isn't a girl that I…"like" enough over. Here are all of the girls that come closest to being "waifu" material for me:

<Mana (From Yu-Gi-Oh!, first "potential waifu"): I obsessed over her for a little while after finishing off watching the original Yu-Gi-Oh!, but that ended pretty quickly after a month.

<'Blaze (From the SoT series)': I really like here, but I do not know why. I always try playing as her whenever I can, but I don't really pay attention to her personality (I actually find it a bit annoying, partially because she isn't able to "grow" due to story reasons).

<Lamia (From Id: The Greatest Fusion Fantasy, third pic is how she appears when she's able to give herself an appearance, but she's really a sword (Fourth pic)): I just really like her personality. However, I also want to see her "win" in the end by getting Id. So, that's off the table.

<Sunset Shimmer (From MLP: Equestria Girls): I like her look, I like her attitude, I'm a sucker of reasonable stories where the character goes from being genuinely evil to a "good guy" and fixing their past mistakes, but…it doesn't quite "hurt" enough to see her attached to a shit series.

<Neopolitan (From RWBY): I like her look and her personality, but I think most of my "attraction" to her is due to how little screen time she got. And, it's almost guaranteed that we'll never see her again (At least, without some form of character assassination).

<Han-Ree (From Household Affairs): Simply put, she's a a yandere character obsessed with Sunbae in the story. So she's out like with Lamia, and she's more of a "quick fling" for me like with Mana (But not to the same amount of interest).

What kind of retarded logic is that? That's like saying Armstrong wasn't the first man on the moon because someone else thousands of years before he was born looked at the moon and thought "man, I really wish I could go there".

The only one who can decide whether a 2D girl is a virgin or a slut is their creator, everything else is irrelevant. It makes no difference how many 3D people want to marry her or whatever because they fucking can't.

You gotta make your own, or else do what I did and waifu a species.

My waifu is a Kikimora from the Monster Girl Encyclopedia. She enjoys traveling, hunting and camping innawoods, wants a family, and beyond that nothing's set in stone. I don't even have a name for her, I just use "Kiki" as a sort of placeholder. By doing this, I can hope to one day meet a qt Kikimora in the next life who likes the things I like, and can fit into this sort of preset I have for what I consider to be waifu material. Pic related could easily be her, but also might not be. This way when I see an image of something horrible happening to a Kikimora (which thankfully I don't see too many of) I can say to myself, "that's sad, but it's not happening to my waifu, it's happening to some other girl" and when I see a nice wholesome image like this, I can say, "That's my waifu"

Typing it all out makes this seem way more autistic than it did when I just did it without thinking about it
