I was able to understand just enough of your post. It definitely seems dated, but you have to remember that with someone who has to put on such a presentation as the English Royal family, this sort of stroller was likely made for the baby, and frankly, something as traditional as that was expected. Such a thing in terms of its antiquity and traditional appearance pales in comparison to, say, the cuirassiers on horseback escorting the couple to get married to an audience of nobles and wealthy people in a nearly 1000 year old church.
And yes, before anyone mentions it, I'm quite certain many babs here envy them the ownership of such a stroller.
