So, I was watching this great documentary called "The Imposter", I deeply recommend you guys to watch the whole thing. But it's basically the history about this 23 year old guy, Frédéric Bourdin, who pretends to be 16 or 17.
He, assumed multiple identities over the years, all them kids. He even went as far as pretending to be a missing child of an american family (the documentary is pretty much focused on this case). He got away with deceiving the police, child protective services, embassy employees and so on. And he talked a lot about the posture and so on, and about how people just assume a lot of things, based on how you behave and on your posture…
Although, he didn't seem to be an infantilist himself some things that he said, regards his motivation, it definitely resonates with some things that infantilists would say: He didn't want responsibilities, he wanted to be young, to have a family and so on.
It took me by surprise, because, although I had read countless stories about this (I strongly recommend "FIRSTHAND EXPERIENCE" by Hal) I never thought that something even remotely slightly similar to them had ever happened FOR REAL.
And although the age range that he pretended to be in was middle adolescence, I think some people could have gotten away with pretending to be waaay younger. I mean, I know that for a fact, just look at some japanese chicks in their early or even mid-20s who look to be 13.
There are a lot more options on the table for women (like, they can use pigtails, they can dress up in a pretty childish girly way), which a boy can't, all this giving the impression that they are a child. I believe a flat-chested woman with pigtails could have easily pretended to be (and passed as) 12 years old.
And a little part of me, who want to believe in the magic of the universe and unicorns really wish that this ever happen involving an ageplayer woman, because it would have been so freaking cool. She pretending to be a little girl wearing the school uniform and all that shit, while her “mommy” take her to the school… God, this would be soooo amazing!
Anyways, what you guys think about this whole thing?
