Depends Max Protection were my very first adult diaper, so they'll always have a special place in my heart. In fact, this thread compelled me to order a pack from Amazon.

I swear to god, if they send me the shitty cloth-backed version that they trialed, I'm gonna be pissed.

I'm feeling hella impulsive tonight. Just went and bought three sets of vintage Depend Max Protection diapers (5 briefs/set).

Came out to $22, which is a pretty goddamn good deal for 15 diapers that haven't been made in nearly a decade.

If they do end up as the cloth but you still want some. Go for the "Protection with Tabs" thats the new name for the plastic backed Max Protection Depends

No, I'm talking about when Kimberly-Clark changed them up earlier this year. They switched the plastic-backed Protection with Tabs to cloth-backed, but there was major backlash from their customer base. After having all of their products flooded with negative reviews on pretty much every marketplace, Kimberly-Clark did something nearly unheard of in the industry: they listened to the complaints and changed the diaper back to plastic-backed.

Unfortunately I've heard some people complaining that they ordered packs of PwT that are advertised as 6-tab plastic-backed, but instead got the vastly inferior 4-tab cloth-backed PwT.

I still don't know why they thought they needed to make that change. They already have the cloth-backed "Adjustable Underwear"…
