It's like they're trying to get women into diapers.

I used to take pads and put them in my underwear, papertowels / towels and put them in old underwear that I used to wear when I was younger.

When I was like 14 I put a towel in my underwear and peed in it. Wasn't sure what to do with it afterwards so I just stuck it in one of my chest of drawers drawer and forgot about it until it was super moldy. Had to take out the bottom of the drawer and throw out the towel and bottom.

Just couldn't match real diapers though.

I used to cut garbage bags into plastic hourglass sheets for a plastic backing and then stacking strips of toilet paper (using an entire roll) to make a rectangular pad. Then place the pad in the plastic and then use duct tape strips. Looks, feels, and almost works like the real thing.

Used to sit in the shower and take wash cloths and pile them up around my crotch and pee.

I live with my parents and haven't risked buying. What I did was take a garbage bag for a small trashcan, cut leg-holes, slipped it on and put a pair of underwear over that. I wouldn't work well for wetting, but it worked pretty well for messing. I'm sure the real thing is infinitely superior
