Diapers For Jessica never got finished

and I don't think The Trying Policy ever got finished. Though it's clear the mother was never going to let her daughter go back to panties and using the toilet.

>quality stories/roleplays with good, detailed writing that appeal to your tastes never get finished

>poorly written garbage continues for pages on end and gets regurgitated and updated daily

I still check for that one every week or so.

This one got its ending, but it never got its sequel that was dangled https://www.dailydiapers.com/board/index.php?/topic/36597-the-trainer/

This is a very good "mental" regression story where a teenage boy and his mother move to a new town where the educational system is far more advanced. He rapidly goes down grades until he lands in something more his educational level. Spoilers: it's somewhere below first grade. Also not finished, but it ends on a fine note IMHO if it's never getting updated since 2015.

>tfw I used to write some stories

>started two, finished zero

>they were both very well received as-realistic-as-possible slippery slope stories about girls being somewhat forced by happenstance into diapers

I had a LOT of free time when I first started writing those and I've had less and less free time ever since then. Sometimes I think that I should really get back to them, I actually still remember the large majority of my intended plot and I think I actually wrote that down at some point but I don't know if I'd ever actually have the time that good writing takes. Especially for something like that which I would have to stay anonymous about. Thank god for the brave few who put out good, free, well written content.

I find a lot of stories to be meh. Not realistic enough, poorly written…the few gems I found usually don't get updated and it fucking sucks.

This one was a great mental regression story, LOVED it and so pissed the guy stopped updating cause he left the site: https://www.dailydiapers.com/board/index.php?/topic/51184-jodys-new-job-chapter-14-502/

 No.37702

Yeah it's rare I find a story I love and it usually gets abandoned.. so maddening.

I even used to pay for commissions but then the guy got really slow in writing them and they're expensive generally, especially if you want a decent one. :/

Timberly, Ohio was probably the one I most looked forward to getting finished and it sadly never happened. For those who haven't read it yet the premise is a family moves to a company town owned by a paper products company, a stand-in for Kimberly Clark. The city is used as a testing ground for all of the products that the company produces. The main character was using art to cope with being pushed back into diapers, and there were hints of the motivations of the company possibly being malicious, and some good character building before it all just stopped.

Pic related, my feels when good authors quit halfway through and leave us with only a glimmer of gold in a shallow sea of piss.

Trying policy finished.

I liked Anita Trials and then the author decided to abandon it.

I remember Ben and the Diaper Store and the author also stopped writing it. It was posted on the old bravenet forum ran by James.

Probably the only person on the internet that loved this story even though it never really took off.

 No.44764

I've abandoned one story I've written but only because I thought the premise was stupid (long story short: a mysterious being called the "diaper whisperer" entices people into wearing for various reasons; a detective investigates in a film noir sort of setting). As for my other projects, I nearly abandoned a couple of them but instead forced myself to finish them, leading to the quality dropping off toward the end.

>>37623

My stories are generally well-received, which is good because I try to put a lot of thought into them. But the process can get exhausting. Imo, the good stories are abandoned because the writers burn themselves out (or have actual lives and priorities), and the shitty stories drone on and on because the "writers" put absolutely no thought into anything that's going onto the page. They spend 10 minutes shitting out barely-legible drivel for the sole purpose of getting their own autistic rocks off.

Hasn't updated in just about a year. Rips my heart out because his stuff is absolutely exactly what I want in a fic, beyond words. I hope they come back one day.

Not gonna lie, I really want a sequel for it. And the guy who wrote it is still active.

I have a massive weakness for pokemon stories. There was one a long time ago by an author on FTT, I think the title was something like "Pokemon Cerulean Blue"? Something like that. The female trainer from Pallet town lost a bet and had to buy some diapers, and then started wearing them on her journey. I really liked it, but it was never finished.

I'm having some difficulty finding it now, otherwise I'd link to it.

 No.44885

the story i really wish would get finished is Selling Out, the sequel to The Double Life of Ariel Crawford.

Double Life was one of the first ABDL stories I found and really enjoyed. It honestly still holds up pretty well today.

Unfortunately I think the author has left the community.

What are the thoughts on someone else continuing stories of authors that have gone missing?
