You got any suggestions? My biggest struggles really are how to get a good line and stroke, and how to fix prepare the base picture so it isn't absolutely shit after I increase the size for painting over. Also another issue is the whole detailing bit. I just don't know what and how to make details, textures, folds, greases, and so forth. On the #7 I tried to use texture on the picture and star from a picture. #6 tried to do reflections.

Problem is that I'm kinda lost on what direction I should go for. I mean like I'm getting better, you should see the very first ones I made that were absolute shit. Hell… I don't even know what kind of base art I like, Manga/Anime or western cartoon style.

I just wrote a python script to run the inverse of the alpha blending equation. I can share it if you want.

It could potentially be useful for editing under the right circumstances. I would make a GIMP plugin to add it as a layer mode, but as far as I know there's no easy way to add layer modes in a portable way.
