Today was trying to learn from Henreader. Henreader uses a lot of round shapes for the eyes (and seems to use heart shapes and other cute designs for rendering the eyes) and places them below half the height of the head to make girls seem young. There's also always blush on the cheeks/below the eyes, with some on the lips and nose.

Perhaps you already did.

Doing anything well is hard. I think other artists just give you the illusion that it isn't, because they don't share the failures, including the constant failures within the successes. Like getting the perspective of something completely wrong, they'll just erase it and fix it, but other people won't know it happened so they only see the successful part.

When I look at my own drawings it makes myself feel inadequate, because I only keep the finished drawings that turned out well so they look better than what I can normally do. It seems like I'm worse at art than even myself.
