Sen jobbed way too hard against Fang. It made sense for him to lose, but he got fucking destroyed, unneededly so.

In any case, Omega is good so far. It strikes a nice balance between Asura cameos, steady protagonist progress and enough hooks to hint at a deeper story.

Everyone jobbing to Kuroki at the end was kinda disappointing. Especially Ouma both losing and dying, I probably would've been fine with one or the other, but both happening felt really unsatisfying as far as an ending goes.

Also, I don't plan on watching it because of the CGshit, but how much of the manga does the anime even cover? It's not like there's a really good stopping point.

Ohma was already falling apart before the fight and kuroki, besides some broken bones, was still capable of fighting at his best condition. The beard that beat the fang vs a beardless wimp at death's door, the outcome could be seen from miles away.

Checking netflix's episode list, seems it ends at 12 episodes just after the ohma vs inaba (hair assassin) fight.

i was hoping that fang fought against ohma instead of sen and sen vs Kuroki would be more interesting in my opinion.

Sen was just overhyped. His biggest achievment was beating a younger Wakatsuki in the past. He was scared by Rei the first time they met, and his first two fights were against "easy" opponents. Post Omori Fang and Gensai are a level above any other fighter in the tournament. It's not that Sen or Rei aren't two of the best fighters of the tournament, it is just that Fang and Gensai are outclassing them.

I disagree with that, it would have been the standard plotarmor shounen MC beats far superior opponent through power of will. Everytime this happens the mangaka gets lynched for being a 3rd rate writer. Ohma beating Wakatsuki was already just him plotarmoring his way through. What makes Kengan great is that there isn't really a proper main character once the tournament starts. The focus is always on the current fight. You don't know who is going to win, there's tension in almost every fight.

The sole exception is Ohma, he's using a special style that can do anything and has dozens of special techniques. His fights against any top fighter follow the same pattern, get dominated for most of the fight, and then make a comeback. The only difference in the final was that he didn't make the comeback. Excluding the last counter Ohma perfomed worse than Rei against Gensai.Both of them landed three clean hits, and the hits only landed because they caught Gensai by surprise. Rei's hits caused significantly more damage than Ohma's. The final wasn't even close, it would've been a disgrace if Gensai lost.
