I don't know how to feel about the directing in this show. At times it feels a bit too artsy for how cheap it otherwise looks, and at other times it feels like someone is just moving the camera in a VN scene. The character designs are just straight up ugly and I don't like any of the characters so far, especially not the Cake-kun, since he seems like hodgepodge of every generic harem MC ever. The entire show feels like a parody of harem that someone forgot to write jokes into. The shitty subs make it a chore to watch too. I could turn them off and get more listening practice but there has to be something there for me to watch it for first.
