Quick recap: Eren's plans to get ahead brought him to the war against the world. His master plan involves mixing spinal fluid into a heady drink, and then getting most of the population to drink it. To win he needs to head towards his brother Zeke, but a couple of Marleyan jarheads are trying to stop him. Will he be able to stay headstrong in his goal? Should he be charging headfirst into danger? Will the newfound titan power go to his head? Ahead, in this chapter of Shingeki no Kyojin!
Not sure I understand what the fuck is going on. Maybe it will immediately go to a giant copout like with Reiner.

I don't know if they're trying to make Eren the villain or if he's actually a hero in the end. He'll probably pull a reiner, pretend to be dead but is still alive through a bullshit ability and get the founding titan power in the next chapter. This whole arc has been stretched and full of utter stupidity. I would think that even the Japanese audience must be able to see through all the bullshit storytelling at this point. I pray that this is the final arc but I doubt that. I can see him going until 150.

There hasn't been either since 20 chapters ago. The whole point that the artist is going for is that both sides of a conflict can be justified or condemned depending on your beliefs. Not sure how you missed such basic middle school tier stuff.

Well I wasn’t expecting this. Is it worth getting caught up in recent chapters? Seems people are divided on the quality, but Eren becoming more than “angry power up plot device” sounds fun. Was the basement reveal satisfying? Are Armin, Levi, and Mikasa still alive? Is Christa still a Chad?

There's some weird fuckery that ties all the Eldians together through time and space. It's already hard fact that if any of the special titans die without their powers being passed on, a random Eldian anywhere else in the world, as long as they have Eldian blood, will magically manifest those powers. There's also that shit where titans eating other titans grants them the memories and special knowledge of all the previous people who held that power.
It's also believed that this works in reverse, so someone who gains memories in the future will also have some of that in the past. This is supposedly why Eren was crying for no reason in the first chapter before anything had happened.. because he was "remembering" from the future, that this was the day his Mother and everyone else was going to die. Also, Chapter 1 is called "To you, in 2000 years". Supposedly, a lot of this bullshit is a lot clearer in the anime because Hajime had a chance to refine some of his scatterbrained bullshit ideas after publishing the manga.

145×13(curse of ymir)=1885 years
1885+107=1992 years
Eren was 15 years old (year 850) at that time and he received power of the Titans from his dad when he was 10 (year 845) so at 15 he has 8 year lifespan left
1992+8=2000 years
Eren's lifespan ends right at the 2000 year mark.
