This has more than a hint of forced cuteness and it feels kind of dull and generic, but at the same time I can't bring myself to dislike it. I get that this is meant to be a healing show, but I wish there was a bit more of either drama or comedy, or both, and that the characters had a bit more personality to them. Even when Dale was supposed to be torn about what to do with Lala tina I never really felt like there was any actual conflict or that there was the slightest chance he wouldn't adopt her. Why would they make the point about Latina being a branded demon loli if everyone is just going to accept her easily anyway?

Used to read the manga, loved the dynamic of a father and child, that was my whole and sole reason of loving the series, then someone told me he later marries her and so i ditched the whole series after many people confirmed it. I thought its nice to just have a story that focused on a child and parent growing together in the process, it was just a lolicon in disguise, they should have skipped the daughter-father thing all together then.

As it's explained in the WN, there are two types of yellow god followers- Scholars who travel the world and Scholars that live by the temple. It's said that "Scholars who travel the world" are very capable of adapting if something happens and can always go back to the temple if they have to, but "scholars that live by the temple" are incapable of doing that since they have none of the skills necessary to survive outside of their scholarly pursuits within the temple. Basically, by getting her excommunicated from that school, she will never find work again as a scholar because she now has a reputation and no one would want to get on the bad side of the church/everyone will think she's messed up in the head after that incident, and being a "scholar of the temple" she has basically no skills to survive. As the WN describes it, her best possible scenario would be to marry some farmer in a remote village if she wants any chance of surviving through a cruel life of popping out kids until she dies during childbirth, but that most likely she'd have to take a job as a laborer or as a whore (if she doesn't flat-out starve to death first). Basically this is the next worse possible thing after death.
