I really liked the manga but the anime seems to suffer from the same issue that Ueno-san had last season, namely the studio having no fucking idea how to make this adaptation.
The core is still there but the presentation is all wrong. The casting for the characters is unfitting. The performances the seiyuus give are bland. The use of music or lack thereof in scenes is lazy and doesn't match the tone of the particular scene. And most damning for a comedy show the comedic timing is completely wrong and works hand in hand with the music to kill any sort of comedic punch the gags would otherwise have. That's my main problem with it: it's unfunny. The animation is pretty decent for a show like this but only getting one aspect of an anime adaptation right and horribly fucking up all the others is not a recipe for success, especially not when the one thing you get right is a lot less relevant to a comedy show than the others.

This show continues the trend of shit pacing where you rush through a bullet point list of lines and fail to land the majority of them. The voice acting sounds like they're using the first attempt at each line as well. Art is decent but still has some QUALITY aspects to it. They did a bad job at translating the story into a animated form and it rides entirely on the original being funny.

Tejina-sempai was fun when it focused on her antics and failure, but seeing as it has introduced more characters later on it lost its charm. Same problem with "It's not my fault I'm not popular!". If the author had just introduced those characters earlier on like in "Recorder and Randsell" it might have worked better although it's been a long time since I've read "Recorder and Randsell" and that may not be entirely accurate .
I haven't watched the show yet for this reason, but is it actually twelve minutes long? It would work better as a 2-4 minute short. The gags are simple and short, I can't imagine cramming 4-6 chapters in one episode and padding it out makes it entertaining.
