What would you like to talk about? HxH ended in 2011.

I usually make a new thread when the hiatus stops, and it lasts until the new hiatus starts.

Because the thing is on hiatus as usual and there's nothing new to discuss? Unless you want a bullshit thread with 300 replies discussing nothing and circlejerking like halfchannel retards.

Can't really talk much until it gets back from hiatus. Chimera Ant arc was the peak. Though, there are noticeable art changes from the beginning all the way to the end since that was where the major hiatus started to kick in. Not sure what the point of the election arc was other than to subvert Gon's meeting with his father. The current succession arc is a little over the place since I think the last batch of chapters introduced new characters into an already large cast of characters. Should just stick to the princes, Gon and his crew (if they ever show up again), Hunter Association members and the Phantom Troupe/ Spiders. No need to give every underling of the princes names since they'll likely be dead by the end of this trip.

It's not whole. Who wants to discuss half an arc that's been in progress for 10 years? Or the completed arc that's already 10 years old? It's in an undead limbo, neither old or new.

Everyone who's interested is already caught up and has no desire to talk about it any more.

Maybe if someone new picked it up, there'd be something to discuss.

2011 is the superior version because the 2011 is more faithful to the manga. The 1999 version added shitty filler cliches like the elevator lady in Heavens Arena being stronger than Hisoka and a nen user who can beat up Killua and Gon like it's nothing all for the sake of promoting the gag that "when girls get angry they'll beat you up!" Excellent example of this shitty trope is Nami from One Piece, Sakura from Naruto, etc. HxH doesn't need this bullshit, and the 1999 version adds it for no reason just to appeal to the crowd who want the same cliches in all their shows.

First time I saw the battleship-island filler episodes I went back and re-read the manga, confused, because I literally could not accept that it wasn't canon. I thought that someone had fucked the uploads and missed a couple chapters and then numbered the rest of them wrong.
