I don't know if I've outgrown anime or if I've been pushed out of it by the direction shows have gone. I like adventure series and mecha series, neither really exist any more. The ones that do exist are all MMO based and I don't enjoy them or the style they take. It's an overused gimmick with no soul left.

The concept sounded like a horror series, but it's just generic shounen. I can't see any reason to watch this over all the other super hero series of the last decade.

The SD Gundam series is an animated comic and this season other wise has no mecha. There's always the back log but there just isn't anything I enjoy any more. The MMO gimmick would of been nice 10 years ago when MMOs were relevant, now even the MMO genre is dead.

It's more likely this, I've felt the same way this year. Very few new anime have caught my interest enough for me to watch, and even does that do I've been dropping. I've been increasingly move more into manga.

I would move to manga but a lot of the series I like don't translate well into still images. It's very difficult to give mecha impact in manga. Which is a real shame because it lets a lot of the designs shine in detail an anime can't do.

Thats essentially where I am. The last anime I actually watched was probably Overlord. I just read manga now and never actually watch anime.
