Why would they be? It wasn't his publisher at fault, and he's not serving any time. The back taxes were paid and he didn't even serve any time. The LNs are still ongoing as far as I can tell, too. The real reason we're not seeing any new anime is because Touno writes too damn slowly, and they covered the first 10 (of currently 11-12?) volumes in the two series they did already.

I watch almost nothing at normal speed, it's been a long time since something was well paced and well crafted enough that i could stand to watch it at normal speed. Ever since the radio era ended all media has gotten painfully slower and full of dead air. I just can't fucking stand it.
