>I've had a premium account for about as long as this site has had them. I have been a loyal customer all this time and I have shilled for this site hard at every opportunity. the last few years I have started to see a familiar pattern that has begun to make me just a little bit uncomfortable.
>I was fairly pissed when I found subs starting to get politically slanted nonsense rather than actual translations of the source material (see Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid and Lucoa's hot takes on "pesky patriarchal societal demands"). I was pretty incensed when CR released a game censored despite stating explicitly you would not (see DanMachi: Memoria Freese 'no touching edition'). These recent false steps have been making me a bit worried that CR was getting taken over by SJWs. If that's the case you are sure as FUCK not getting my $6.99/month. I am not funding THAT. The reason I watch anime is to get AWAY from that bullshit. I pay my 6.99/month so that people in JAPAN get paid to make art I like, that doesn't cater to American puritanical sensibilities, not so some fucking aposematicly colored hipsters who would be unendingly pleased to see me dead can afford their $4000 tenement in San Francisco and make a fucking Steven Universe clone while jerking themselves off about how fucking diverse they fucking are. But then I see High Guardian Spice and it looks exactly like the latter is what is happening.

Fullmetal Alchemist, Inuyasha, Mushishi, D.Gray-man, Noragami, Blue Exorcist, Maji are a few off the top of my head. I don't care about the shape of the genitles of the person writing. The only reason I care that they are from Japan is because they are part of a community that exists only there, that is minimally influenced by obnoxious western cultural elements (Right or Left), that makes art I like, and that I want to support. That was your job. That was what I paid you for. To support the anime industry in Japan.

Even if you do cancel this Generic Calarts Animated Program #593, the people who made the decision are still in power at your company and they still think they are in the right. You'll be like "oh, he said SJW, I can ignore him". You will just keep on trying it until you get away from it. Maybe if CR took my 6.99/moth and applied it to getting anime, like I pay them to do, I could have watched Little Witch Academia 6 months earlier, when it was actually airing, or "anime of the year" Made In Abyss, which I almost fucking overlooked because Amazon of all places got it, not the place I pay exclusively for anime. Maybe If Crunchyroll spent my money to faithfully translate the source material Quetzalcoatl wouldn't be spouting feminist nonsense at random. If the gender communists had their way, would I even be able to see something like Made in Abyss?
