The chosen fighter may be of either gender; for example, in the past manias we've had Vegeta, Guts, Goblin Slayer, Popuko and Pipimi, Chaika and a bunch of 2hus and Fate characters. For this mania, only one character can be chosen, so the character with most nominations is the one that gets to represent /a/. But yes, she does love her friends and although she is a massive smug bug on the outside she can be very selfless when it comes to helping those she loves. Mana wants them to succeed and do their best and knows how to pull their strings in order to nudge them on the right path. Mana is persistent in her goals and usually gets her way, which makes her prefect for a coach.
Other notable features are that she is A CUTE and has croissants for hair. Did I mention she's really smug?

If I had to say one thing to describe Mana is how she's an engine to move things forward.
Romance manga, more often than not, either doesn't move forward or keeps the status quo forever, but in Mousou Telepathy Mana keeps things going, she makes the main characters do things. I think that's why she was nominated for coach to begin with.

Not quite. Mania 33 is going to feature all the winners from the manias before it, then there will be a break and TNA plans to have a season 2 after the break.
But this mania was a bit different in that slots were allocated to each board whereas normally it is no more than 6 non-vidya entries out of the 32. So getting your nomination in is a bit tough if you need one of those 6 slots for it.

As the guy who made HoiHoi I'm kinda butthurt that she lost so early in the tournament, I did my best to add as many anime classic moves as possible and make her tough enough to stand up against most of the roster
Still I'm proud of most of the results, German Suplex, octopus stretch and the Kinniku Buster+Rey Mysterio's headsicssors pin combo proved to be her best weapons
