 No.808966

Vertical just released vol.1 in English.

Anyone picked it up?

Who's been keeping up with the raws?

And the all important: Anime when?

RIP Habanero scans, never stood a chance against the speed of official licenses.

Scans when?

Did the official translation get released before they could release their scanlation, or did they just stop working on it out of "respect"?

Do you know if the official translation is any good?

I remember they didn't stop translating Nichijou outright when that got licensed but it seems like they gave up since the official release beat them to the end. I don't know if it's "respect" or just that they don't see the point in continuing after being overtaken.

I personally didn't have any problem with the translation, nothing seeming blatantly incorrect or forced. Some parts I would even say seemed a bit better than what Habanero released.

Oh good. In that case it probably makes sense for Habanero to focus their efforts on things which haven't been translated by anyone else.
