I can't cope with Beaches, I hate them, I'm that famous Mountainfaggot, who likes cold weather and maximum levels of comfyness.

Grand Blue is too alien for me.

You sure about that? Baka and Test had a decent adaptation and the humor of Grand Blue doesn't differ to far in terms of delivery from that series.
