Godzilla: Planet Of The Monsters Anonymous 01/18/18 (Thu) 05:46:42 No.782651
So the movie is now on Netflix and it was the most underwhelming Godzilla movie. The story isn't bad, but it felt more like it should have been the second movie instead of the first movie based on how it started, the voice acting was decent, and the CGI was just plain horrible.

Zilla really let himself go after he took over the earth.

We did it, we killed Godzilla!
-A second godzilla bumping his head on the stratosphere appears-
What a twist.

There are two Godzillas and the one seen most of the movie is Godzilla's son, which gets killed. Godzilla doesn't actually come until the end of the movie.

>Birds with Godzilla DNA
>Plants with Godzilla DNA
>The atmosphere has Godzilla DNA too
Basically Godzilla jizzed on anything and everything during the 20,000 year period humanity was gone.

He probably raped the shit out of the other monsters as well.
It's a shame the Klingons weren't able to finish building mecha godzilla though.

The development for MechaGodzilla was complete. The problem was that it wouldn't function properly and was destroyed before they could figure out the problem and getting it running.

Any link to Shin Godzilla, or is this yet another reboot or just some weird stand-alone thing funded by Netflix's irresponsible money burning policies?

but, shouldn't it be Gojira?

Another reboot that is part 1 of an animated trilogy. There won’t be any more live action Godzilla movies until after Godzilla vs Kong is released.

Gojira and Godzilla are the same thing.

Watch it for yourself. Like I said, Godzilla doesn't actually show up until the end of the movie.

They were on a essentially a temporary satellite. It's unlikely they even had massive firepower like that to nuke the planet. Even if they did, it'd waste their little energy, and then it's completely unknown if it'll kill Godzilla.
Anonymous 01/21/18 (Sun) 14:26:37 No.784031
They missed the chance to do the "fuck you" option aka "ignite the atmosphere/split the planet into massive chunks" when running away 20 years ago. I would like to see King of Destruction trying his shit in fucking space.

mass drivers. Drop an asteroid from orbit. Cheap. We can do it right now with current tech.
Also, if a fucking asteroid/nuke/ion cannon can't kill it, then tanks and ground shit can do it even less.
