I don't know, I thought it was pretty promising. Good balance of realism and schmaltz. I also wasn't expecting it to be this humorous.

The one thing I didn't like was the weird shiny plastic artstyle. I've seen it in a few other shows before recently but I really hope this isn't going to be the new overall style anime is heading towards. Main girl being Minase Inori right after watching Shoujo shuumatsu ryokou is kind of distracting too.

This is more of a drama than CGDCT, and the characters are drawn like those you'd see in an anime geared for a female audience. If I were forced to pick 4 anime this season, I would pick SoraBasho, Yuru Camp, and 2 out of Hakumei/Fate/Popteam/Franxx/Sakura/Overlord 2.

Nip taste is still far superior to the West, where Grancrest Senki, Death March and Kokkoku are more popular than Yuru Camp and Sorabasho.

With BD prices, four is pretty good. Still not enough though. In the first 3 episodes I would go with Mitsuboshi, YuruCamp, SlowStart, and SoraBasho. Most Otaku watch and record the TV versions, there's just a limit to the ammount of BDs they can buy.

It's pretty hard to describe what durians smell or taste like. To me they smell more like vomit mixed with gasoline and rotting fruit. It doesn't smell that bad at first but it quickly gets extremely noxious.

I've only eaten it once and it tasted terrible and it left a really bad aftertaste. I've heard people say that it tastes better on the second try but I honestly wouldn't eat it again.

For the people interested about how SoraBasho is doing in Japan.

SoraBasho had a big sales ranking incerease after episode 7.

Current Stalker final estimates put volume 1 at 5098, but the current calculation doesn't fully factor in the bump.

In my opinion there's a decent chance that volume 1 will sell between 7000-8000 copies, and even 10k are possible when Antarctica is good.

Last episode felt different, maybe we'll get our zetsubou after all. Cute dorky girls going to Antarctica would also be okay
