Overall this show was only okay. The only reason I watched it was for how cute the Elito Neeto even if she did cut her hair. Her reactions and noises were too good. The rest of the show, particularly the plot, were very forgettable.

I had a good laugh when Sakurai said her motherboard was dead, when she was looking at the Windows Safe Mode boot menu.

The moonspeak "Net-juu No Susume" directly translates as "Recommendation of an MMO"
The name Recovery of an MMO-Junkie is one of two English names the original mangaka has used for it. The other one being Recommendation of a Wonderful Virtual Life.
>>769958
They're playing Maiboji, which means they sorta do. Not because it has great graphics, but because it's a coded by retards and eats up far more ram than it needs.

The Japanese animators worked with Crunchyroll and they suggested "Recovery of an MMO Junkie" for the English title instead of "Netojuu no Susume". So the Japanese animators agreed and placed it in the background of the OP. The problem comes when you use "Recovery of an MMO Junkie" to translate both "Netojuu no Susume" and "Riajuu no Susume" even though they're opposites.

Mabinogi isn't Japanese, it's Korean (with various international localizations), and Korean computing in general tends to do its own odd insular things.

>The moonspeak "Net-juu No Susume" directly translates as "Recommendation of an MMO"
It can be directly translated as either "recommendation of a netizen" or "the advancement of a netizen" since the verb stem 'susume' isn't written in Kanji. Since the mangaka uses both English translations interchangeably, the ambiguity is likely intentional.

solid 9/10 sure its your typical romcom, but I liked it alot due to how well i could connect so easily with the characters. plus with the addtion of it not being too bland and having one of the most catchy openings I've heard in a while.
also if anyone has the opening in webm form i'd love you forever, I cant find anything on jewtube that isnt shitty nightcore

The Northern american market is a big market for animu now and certain animu which fails in Japan becomes profitable when sold outside of Japan. Crunchyroll is the biggest promoter of anime in the NA and buys streaming rights for many shows. They have a lot of say and are only going to get more of it in the future.

Someone is bound to sub the BD one day. How long that will take I do not know. Personally, if I were you, I'd just put it on my backlog until then and forget about it. It's not like you should be in a any rush to see it now that it already aired.

Four of the main cast (VAs for Moriko, Sakurai, Hayashi, and Lily) just finished up what they say is their ninth and final Net-juu live event in Tokyo. It was an invite-only thing for people who bought the blu-ray and filled out a form on their website with a code, so I can confirm that the buyers of these discs look like a fairly normal average-looking cross-section of Japan.
Photography wasn't allowed in the hall, but I hadn't seen these artworks before, so I bought a clear file set.
