I always hate list based inventory systems, Id love a viewer that gave me the "large icons" like in explorer and let me have as many folders open as I wanted, its so much easier to organize things that way.
most annoying thing in firestorm when viewing "recent" items you can't make new folders and new folders do not show as recent items.

I heard there was a viewer that could upload sounds longer than 10 seconds, is it legit? Meerkat or something? Looks old, hasn't been updated since 2009. Is there another way? I have sounds longer than 30 seconds and don't want to keep dropping nickels just to upload memes.

You dont need a viewer for that. Here's super secret exploit:
Put your loop in audacity, find the custom bitrate thing in the track menu, input a custom value.
1-10s 44200 (DEFAULT)
10-20s 88400
20-30s 72000 project bitrate / 144000 track bitrate (20-30 SECOND RANGE) // extremely poor quality ahead capt'n
30-40s 96000 project bitrate / 192000 track bitrate
Essentially you take the rate in 20-30s, and add 24000 twice, then for every bump past the 20s range you half the value you have and apply it to the project rate.
Now export as an ogg vorbis file (ogg) with all of the default settings in audacity, don't mess with any of the quality sliders.
Upload it to secondlife using the bulk uploader
What happens is, on the asset server it gets converted to wav, and in the process expanded again to 44200.
