To reconcile that knowledge, you have turned to Qanon, which had spun a yarn for you, giving you a reason for why this idiot is in charge of the world. Q provided you with an alternative narrative. This idiot is actually a genius. This ungodly man is actually an agent of Christ. This wicked assembly of grifters and thieves are actually a crack team of operatives.

None of it is true.

To sell you this story he wrapped the falsehoods with bits of truths. Yes, there is a cabal of self-serving monstrous creatures lording over humanity. Yes, they abuse children, slice them up, raise them in cages. Yes, they have bases underground, technology you cannot imagine, awesome psychic weaponry. All of these are true.

But you have only pieces, incongruent and scattered about. You have no idea of the true forces at work, because you have been laboring under the delusion that this fits neatly into a narrative provided by Q, that of a crusading force within the Trump admin fighting to bring justice to the world.

The truth itself has become a mockery.
