Some alchemist managed to make a stone that gave people power over Death, which has some obvious problems, along with the stone that made the other vampire "beloved by the night" and why it was eternal night in his castle. Doesn't solve any of the other issues, and honestly they should have gone with Death teaming up with Dracula later once he started becoming stupidly powerful.

So when she comes back in 200 or so years to current year should she still be a crazy bloodthirsty vampire or maybe have her resurrect as a cute loli vampire? I like the idea of his ancestor having been responsible for slaying multiple kinds of mythical monstergirls so that there are a variety chasing after his descendent for revenge. Like a comedy harem drama sorta deal. Some would want to kill him while others would just want him to apologize. Whatever contrivance you need for them to fight for his time/attention.

The trick would be the characterization of the vampire. She’d have to be mean enough that the mc has a credible cause for running away, but also not so mean that she seems irredeemable.
