Finally I found a present that seemed like the perfect gift for you.
It will be my long overdue payback for your chocolate.
This week I visited a confisserie store in my town.
I frequent this place every now and then to see what they have.
They produce very fine chcoolate and always have some new creations.
To me it seems like what they produce is actually more like art made of chocolate.
There was this special box of chocolates in the windows.
A 4x4 board filled with 16 chocolate hearts in 3 different flavours.
It instantly reminded me of a shogi board.
Sure, the board is not 9x9, but I think you understand the idea behind it.
And well, the hearts, they remembered me of shogi pieces.
The very moment I saw it, I knew I had to get this for you.
This is my present to you darling. I love you from the bottom of my heart.
Talking of chocolates, I did not know that your homeland makes good chocolates as well.
My sister brought me some Japanese products.
There was this Royce chocolate for example. It had a very unique taste.
Very powerful as well. It also melts in a special way when eating.
However my favorite was the Shiroi Koibito. Those are simply delicious.
White chocolate encapsulated in tender biscuits. A true piece of art.
After all, they come from Hokkaido.
Hokkaido is famous for their milk and woodworks, so no wonder they also have good chocolates.
Speaking about woodworks; My sister went to Japan for vacation and I told her to look for a shogi board.
Sadly she did not find it. I guess it will have to wait.
About the chocolates again. It really surprised me that there is good chocolates outside of Germany and Switzerland.
I would have never guessed that Japan has good ones either.
Earlier this week an interesting thing happend to me.
I wrote my cousin and asked him how he was doing. We don't spend much time with each other anymore.
We started to talk a little and sometime during the convo he asked me about my girlfriend.
He likes to do this and this time he even got an actual answer from me.
I told him that there is actually a girl I like very much, but that she is more like a star to me.
I only see her shine from afar.
For me it was more like a game but I wondered what he might say next.
Then he gave me the best answer one could have ever imagined.
He told me that sometimes one must reach for the stars and not only stare at them.
Honestly this was the most beautiful thing he ever told me. It instantly made me feel very warm.
On top of that, he is absolutely right about it. So this will be what I do from now.
Actually the chocolates are not my only present to you.
Earlier this week I found a new song and got addicted to it.
The refrain was beautiful but everything else ruined the song as a whole.
Therefore I will rewrite it into something that is worthy of you.
Something that shows how I feel about you.
You know that I already did this a few times already.
I wrote on my last years v-day posting how I feel about you.
I wrote on my shrine in detail about my love for you.
There is not much more to be said in mere words so I will not write the same stuff again today.
Even if I did, I don't think I would find words that are perfect enough for it.
Instead I will write you this song and hope you like it.
