I just drew this diagram. This cycle has gone full circle maybe 3 or 4 times for me in the past 6 years. Currently in the "no interest" part of the cycle but I think I'm nearing the next step. Does anyone relate to this?

Somewhat related also: what do you guys think about sitting down and just thinking? I often try to avoid doing and distract myself with games and such because often it is not pleasant thoughts, but I'm starting to think that if I do it enough and endure the bad I can find a way to break out of this. Thoughts?

I don't do that it would give me a dizzy headache going in circles. Instead I take advantage of what comes my way. Like if we were in a boat on a slow moving river, without paddles, whatever drifts by, grab it, and if you see a rock in your path gently push off to avoid hitting it, but not so hard that you make it worse, damage control. That way you barely work for your living, with get a maximum return for your efforts. It cuts off a lot of miles and headaches.

take care :)

No, actually, I finally figured out what I like doing, what I want to do and slowly but surely I'm getting there.

This is the cycle I used to fall into. I realized finally that I don't NEED friends, unlike what the doctors and family told me, that I can be happy just by doing what I love.

Now you got it, friends is just a concept, but it doesn't last. Life is short don't waste it going in circles.

Sounds like you get way better results than I ever do. My cycle usually goes like this:

<DAY 1 - realize I need to improve in my life

<DAY 2 - make a plan to start being more productive in some area

<DAY 3 - force myself to start

<DAY 4 - force myself to continue, rapidly losing momentum

<DAY 5 - quit

At least you've got me beat, OP.

>what do you guys think about sitting down and just thinking?

I love it. The times in life when I get to sit alone with my thoughts are the times that I get the most clarity. Don't be afraid to sit down with yourself and think things out. You are your own greatest ally if you allow yourself to be.

>>3640

This is good advice, elder hikki. Now that I think on it, some of the nicest things in my life came from taking what came my way, rather than forcing myself toward something. It's certainly a far less stressful form of achievement.

Wu wei

In the Tao Te Ching, Lao Tzu explains that beings (or phenomena) that are wholly in harmony with the Tao behave in a completely natural, uncontrived way. The goal of spiritual practice for the human being is, according to Lao Tzu, the attainment of this purely natural way of behaving, as when the planets revolve around the sun. The planets effortlessly do this revolving without any sort of control, force, or attempt to revolve themselves, thus engaging in effortless and spontaneous movement.

1. An "attitude of genuine non-action, motivated by a lack of desire to participate in human affairs" and

2. A "technique by means which the one who practices it may gain enhanced control of human affairs."

The first is quite in line with the contemplative Taoism of the Zhuangzi. Described as a source of serenity in Taoist thought, only rarely do Taoist texts suggest that ordinary people could gain political power through Wu wei, and in the Zhuangzi does not seem to indicate a definitive philosophical idea, simply that the sage "does not occupy himself with the affairs of the world."

Interesting reading above I can simplify it later, but I'm lazy tonight so copypasta for you, sorry I'm sick right now. Sodium Chlorite (chlorine dioxide), magnesium oil and DMSO protocol for 3-4 weeks, the medicine produces flue like symptoms during therapy.

take care

Mine is exactly like this as well.

Actually this just happens, you don't do it. Proof: try not thinking and see what happens. The ego is a search probe, it's out there curious, curiosity is it's nature.

What we call the ego evolved from a quality of life, it's a self defense mechanism, it's curiosity is magnetic, constantly pulling up thoughts from the electromagnetic field, otherwise known as the universe. There, that will give you something to think about.

take care, and watch out for those bugburgers, hehe

Thank you very much :) I'm doing a clean out the system protocol, I have a cyst on my wrist, and secondary cataracts starting to give me trouble so I'm doing the MMS protocol 1000, ever hear of it?

>elder hikki have you ever thought about boosting up your computer skills and learning programing or hacking or something similar?

Like penetration testing with Kali, I've done that before kali. What would I use it for? I've been on Linux since Knoppix, used it to repair windows machines when there was money in it. Experimented with Qubes-Whonix and virtual machines. My next experimental OS will be Librem 5, the PureOS when it comes out in 2019 are you familiar? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=emb3ImTFyIY

Online Courses, (Cryptocurrency and Python look interesting but then again what would I do with it?)

https://shop.itsfoss.com/deals/online-courses

I was an Admin once, had my own board some years back called Chicks when sharing sets was popular now long gone, it was mostly warez. I fiddle with gimp, inkscape, blender and illustration, but then again competition is ruff. I'm writing my own version of the Yijing based on Nigel Richmond s version (here are the free pdf's if you are interested?) https://www.biroco.com/yijing/richmond.htm

A lot of things happened in my life, I do stay busy sort of, relaxing and contemplating like we all do, the mind stays busy, as if I had a choice, I just relax and let it work with it's interests, watch it and keep it out of trouble, ignore the ego as much as possible, and life just happens. :))) What do you have in mind?

We attract what we need by holding the desired image in the mind, intention is that powerful, eventually 'it' comes drifting by, although we seldom recognize it when it does. It takes practice to stop interfering with fate.

This is what you are trying to do but you say it doesn't work right?

>>3809

What do you want, pick one thing and hold that image, when something similar comes your way accept it. It might not be a perfect match but it might be workable. What I said is very subtle so make sure that you understand you are not hunting, you are allowing the self to be lead. The me is totally helpless, if you get out of the way the right thing will just happen. This is the path of least resistance. Questions?

take care :)

You can't force your way through life and be happy, only psychopaths can do that because they don't care about other people, they don't care about you, they can kill you and not even remember it tomorrow. It's not even about money, they want power, they feed on other souls. So in that same way the ego is a big sticky lump that wants to own everything, but that's not what the self is. Kind of like a jelly doughnut, you are the soft sweet center. But you have forgotten that. Don't worry about profit or loss, just do what needs to be done, because it's the right thing to do. And you will have all the comforts you need. This is work without doing. Questions?

I'm giving you the best friend that you will ever have https://www.biroco.com/yijing/The_I_Ching_Oracle.pdf make friends with the I Ching, you can ask it anything except a yes or no answer, it wants to know you in depth. It is better than any human because you can talk to it about anything and it will always keep your secrets. But it will tell you the truth also. It is like a Great, Great Grandfather that you can always count on.

So I left you everything you need in this thread for a new beginning, every ending is a new beginning Gua 63 I Ching.

I don't know anything, this is why I get out of the way. :) Ask your new best friend the I Ching, this is a very rare out of print advanced version, I gave it to you because it will become important later in your life. Get the version by Stephen Karcher, it's more satisfying to a beginner. Trust your self to make a new beginning.

I'm sorry but I'm not at my best at the moment, I'm feeling pretty sick. But I am interested in what what happens, so please let us know after you start working with the I Ching. This is the best way for you to understand is to actually experience it first hand, okay?

thank you

>What does "getting out of the way" mean? How do you know the right thing will happen?

1) the ego is like a pitbull on guard duty, he scares everyone and thing away. 2) I've used the Yijing since 1980, and it has never hurt me, and it won't let you hurt others either. You can ignore the advise, but I regretted it every time I did that.
