How to become better at writing faster, lengthier, and using more words? What techniques do you guys use? I’m running low on new material.

Brevity is the soul of wit. If you can write well, you shouldn't be trying to write longer.

In any case, if you want to write more, begin describing every sense more often. The touch of skin, the texture of fur, the warm, humid exhales of your character. Your characters smell, the sounds of your character breathing in and out, the sounds of your character making the mattress creak as he moves.

As for writing faster, practice imagining things in depth. Maybe read more. Maybe practice typing at

I've got a bit of a unique situation where it takes me usually 10 minutes, on the dot, to write a semi-paragraph (and sometimes a full paragraph depending on the situation). Not because of my typing speed, but because of how much thought I have to put into understanding the situation and replying thoroughly while keeping it sexy and open-ended for my partner to take more than just one path.

Is this a normal speed, or can I possibly go faster?

Read novels, articles, short stories. Be in contact with the written word and make it remain in your mind after reading; don't forget everything you've read immediately. The choice of what exactly to read is yours, but try to make some kind of progression to more high-brow material over time.

This. "Write longer" is how your school wants you to think, but that's just because American education is meant to keep you stupid. If you really get into an ERP you'll be noticeably better, but also just being a little open-minded and fluid helps.
