Important note:

Due to griping from a lot of corners about how I'm pushing legitimate traffic off the board, or being off-topic in general, or the fact that I'm not in this to annoy people – or to take personal abuse from assholes – I will no longer be sending invitations to any boards unless at least one film is directly relevant to that board.

This message is going to all the boards I have been notifying, and only some of them have had objections. Some of those objections were polite and well-reasoned. Some weren't. A quick search of the thread to which this is posted will reveal which category you likely fall into.

If you want to keep up on the movie nights that I run, you'll have to add >>>/nacht/ to your browsing list and check it once in a while. Weekly would be sufficient, most likely.

The next event likely will be relevant to /ebola/, but after that, I'll use the same guidelines as with all other boards.

BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC) - Birmingham Police Lt. Joe Roberts says a person has arrived at UAB Hospital with possible Ebola symptoms. This is not a confirmed case of Ebola at this time.

The residence where the patient has been staying, in the 1600 block of 17th Street Southwest, is being "isolated" by authorities.

Battalion Chief Buddy Wilks said his crews were called to the scene for a general illness earlier Tuesday. He said once they assessed the patient's symptoms and determined the patient had traveled to West Africa, they contacted UAB Hospital and received medical direction. The patient was then transported.

Wilks said six firefighters came in contact with the patient and were quarantined to go through decontamination procedures.

He said there were two family members of the patient in the house as well. Police officers will remain on scene to make sure the family is OK and to keep them isolated in the residence while officials monitor their health.

Residents on the block said they were being told to stay in their homes.

What this guy said, but also, even if the vaccine did work exactly as claimed, there are multiple strains of Ebola and they are all changing.

For the same reason why the yearly flu vaccine only protects you from a small portion of flu strains, I do not think that any Ebola vaccine will fully protect people against Ebola.

that is done so that there is less chance of the flu virus adapting (which it is very good at doing). they pick which strains should be the most prevelant based on what the weather was during the warmer months and what strains are being seen during the early stages of flu season amongst other factors. if they did otherwise, the flu virus would quickly adapt like MRSA did and all the existing vaccine formulations would become worthless. our only hope is ebola-chan changes quicker than it takes for the current vaccine to be fully tested and handed out.

>Reuters

>100 percent protection

Of course that means vaccinated persons could inject ebola-infected blood and not fall in love, right?

…oh, you meant to say 100 percent of your test subjects didn't fall in love? Let's take a closer look at this vaccine trial. What's this? Inclusion criteria?

>Free of clinically significant health problems, as determined by pertinent medical history and clinical examination at study screening

>Females of childbearing potential who are willing to use an effective method of contraception, from at least 7 days prior to vaccination through the end of the study period, and a double method from day 0 through day 28

>Males who are willing to use effective contraception from day 0 through day 28:

>Be willing to minimize blood and body fluid exposure of others for 7 days after vaccination

>Use of effective barrier prophylaxis, such as latex condoms, during penetrative sexual intercourse (avoiding the sharing of needles, razors, or toothbrushes, avoiding open-mouth kissing, be willing to refrain from blood donation during the course of the study)

Well I'll be damned! That's one helluva rigorous test of the effectiveness of a vaccine. Tell you what, I have an AIDS vaccine ready to go right now. I just need 4000 test subjects who are willing to avoid sharing needles, getting gay married, or visiting San Francisco. Venture capital, here I come!

And while I'm here, I'll post it again in case you haven't seen it.

most if not all vaccines are administered to otherwise healthy patients to avoid complications from an already compromised immune system. this is why when you get a flu shot they (usually) ask you if you have been ill lately. other childhood vaccinations are the same way. vaccines are not a cure after-the-fact, they just reprogram the immune system to fight off any future potential infection. it only makes scientific sense they'd want their first trial to use subjects who are as clean as possible, especially in a phase 1 study. obviously reuters (where most of the MSM gets their news from anyway) wants to spin a positive feel good story without the important details, its their job as spin doctors to do so.

as for ebola-chan's chances? anyone who's already been infected and is still fighting her off is pretty much fucked even if they shipped the vaccine TODAY. even so, it will take years before the complicated logistics of adminstering the vaccine to remote areas of africa can be overcome.

I think that Cure-Chan over here needs to learn what a cure is.

A vaccine is not a cure. If it was then we could say that we've "cured" the flu. We have not. A cure is not prevention.

So an anon had an idea for getting some Ebola-chan porn into the hearts and minds of normies: >>>/pol/2557396

Pic related. I'm the anon with trips, so I'm going to try and get it done. Hire a camgirl for a custom show, ship her an outfit, and give her something of a script to work with. Once I get a quote together for all the costs, I'll put a campaign up on Offbeater (18+ Kickstarter) and put a notice here.

Here's my placeholder picks:

The girl: http://livecams.com/cam/TwoThornedRose/

Nurse outfit: http://www.partycity.com/product/adult%20hospital%20honey%20nurse%20costume.do

I'll probably have to make the ebola hair myself, I know where I can get a sewing machine and who to talk to about it. Pretty simple to do if I can't find something for cheap online.

^Anyone know a more appropriate model? A cuter nurse outfit? Where I could get some tendrils to stick under the cap or clip to her hair? Line ideas for a loose script; some ebola-themed sexy talk?

Disclaimer: I haven't followed ebola-chan closely, but I am a >>>/monster/ resident, so I can work with her comfortably.

Oh wow, I can help actually.

It was because at the time we (/Ebola/) didn't have any OC of Ebola-Chan and shooped pic's aren't OC (no love put in them) so there were a bunch of Ebolite's here that said "Draw her, don't shoop her face on others to look like her" Because at that point you're not looking at Ebola-Chan you're looking at a heresy.

BUT, don't get me wrong it's a good idea to draw others to LOOK like her. More like it please.

Looks like they plan to reinvade Africa with an updated Ebola strain.

>Liberia lost more than 4,800 lives to Ebola before it contained transmission in May. These are the first known cases since then.

>Samples taken from the 17-year-old boy who died from Ebola in Liberia on June 28 shows the virus is genetically similar to viruses that infected many people in the same area more than six months ago, the World Health Organization has said.

>That finding by genetic sequencing suggests it is unlikely the virus was caught from travel to infected areas of Guinea or Sierra Leone, where the virus is hanging on, or from an animal, the organization said. The Ebola outbreak has killed more than 11,200 people, mostly in Liberia, Guinea and Sierra Leone.

>Nyenswah said early action to monitor contacts and isolate those that are sick means that Liberia is "in control of the outbreak."

>The virus spreads through direct contact with an Ebola patient's blood or other body fluids. Once patients recover, health officials say they aren't contagious, except it could still be in semen. The bodies of people killed by Ebola are also highly infectious.

>Life in Sierra Leone remains at a standstill for many. Almost everyone lost someone they knew. Many more lost their livelihoods.

>Emergency measures, such as restricted trading times and a ban on big public gatherings are still in place.

>Every single death that occurs in someone's home has to be treated as Ebola.

Economic war is being thrust onto Africa.

Ebola-chan loves humanity. Why else would she be so persistent in infecting it?

Today, West Africa.

Tomorrow, the world.

It's the same ol' Ebola-chan, she was just hiding out in a survivor's balls so she could spread the love.

Stronger every day!

Jesus was a false god. You know why? because he only came back from the dead once.

Ebola-chan on the other hand, comes back again and again and again!

As we all know, Ebola-chan is back and she needs help spreading once again.

So do we kick up the memes and shrines OR can we do something more?

I like the shrine idea. I think the server is up too.

In another thread an anon mentioned how we could buy a cheap abandoned church in Detroit and worship her there.
