All wrestling is sleazy, it's an industry that built out of the carnies, you took the freak show and you made them fake fight each other. Then you convinced the public they were really fighting and they gave you money to see a godzilla wannabe fight.

Al Snow summed it up pretty well when he said "These people could not function outside of wrestling. If they weren't working this job they would be in prison." The type of people who go into this business are borderline wasters, drug addicts and all round degenerates. They can just about hold themselves together through incredibly busy work schedules but only barely so. i.e. the insane drug use.

As long as wrestling lives it will be the domain of the criminal element of society that wasn't functional enough to become the dealer rather than the addict.

That's not really true anymore in this day and age when you look at young wrestlers of today. Shit has changed significantly. Wrestling industry as a whole is still sleazy as fuck like all types and variations of showbusiness, but the workers aren't really drugged-up criminals anymore. Most of them aren't anyway.
