How long until raw starts being taped in bingo halls?

the purple ropes were a pointless waste of time though

Is WWE in debt or something? I'm seriously confused about all this cost cutting shit. It obviously pisses off the fans. Then again, as Vince knows, people will watch regardless.

Pretty good article about their last debt offering.

http://www.investopedia.com/news/wwe-shares-fall-debt-offering-wwe/

3.375% compounded yearly off the 200 mil principle is going to fuck them up. They are going to outstripe inflation by a ridiculous degree and the rate of maturity is too soon to make any real gains to cover their losses. The best they could have hoped for was to leverage their brand through the network and hope to convert early.

Buuuuut since the network is a giant gapping gash in their ledger that aint gonna happen.

Dollars to donuts Vince is gonna do something shady as fuck like when they went public and die leaving Stef and Haitch to rob the place blind before bouncing.

WWE has been operating at a loss for years while paying dividends outstriping their earnings. They have been supporting this by depleting their cash on hand endangering their operating funds. Specifically the rate on the Class A and B stocks, owned exclusively by vince and his family. So aftet draining the company dry they issued this debt offering to cover the losses and enable the company to keep operating.

If you think for half a second you would get a return you are mistaken. This is just a stalling effort to buy time while the Macmahon's take the stockholders for everything they have, file bankruptcy, and then disappear.

The lsck of pyro and othet cost cutting measures are a symptom of the real problem. If Vince was interested in keeping the company solvent he would reduce dividends, sell off the network, and focus on reinvesting in the show.

They could do the network far cheaper if it was entirely online. No tv licensing, no bullshit, just run ads on your own shit, hell even make it a youtube thing partnered with things like youtube red.

the maturity date is in December 2023. you think they're going bankrupt before that?

I wouldn't doubt that is the absolute state of the WWE.

Look we got Trump until at least 2020. The MacMahons are in big with him, Linda even heading the SBA. If it looks like Trump won't be reelected they can file and Trump can issue a pardon to hedge against any criminal proceedings that may pop up as he leaves office. Every US president pardons all his fuck buddies when he leaves and Vince and The Donald have been friends for decades.

The problem with Titan Sports is no one knows what the fuck they are doing. Licencing over priced shitty proprietary software. Shitty programming choices. Terrible Marketing. The network has been a shit show from the beginning. The only thing that is keeping WWE barely treading water is the extremely lucrative conteacts they have for television. The network is the single biggest loss in their operating expenses. Had they followed a strategy of offering free streaming of their archives using budget server and one of the many reasonably priced streaming software packages out there, they could have organically built a loyal userbase. Then tbey could have offered a premium service to inckude PPV, original programming, and (this is important here) live streams of their brand name shows. It's similar to the Crunchyroll model that tricked weebs into paying for something they had always got for free.

The biggest caveat on that plan though is the contracts with the networks that grant them exclusive rights to the luve shows. However the USA contract should be coming up for renewal. If vince is smart he will get his jews to finagle for the ability to live stream.

I thought changing the Ropes during RAM was silly anyway. Cancelling Talking Smack and getting rid of pyro is just unforgivable though.
