Ellsworth for some reason became a meme after his first match with Braun Strowman. Everything about him from looking as he does to his 'every man with two hands has a fighting chance' line, and being squashed by Strowman, made him into a meme. Then he began appearing on SD where he was pretty much one of, if not the most cheered babyface they had. But then he went on to beat AJ Styles 3 times and that's when people turned on him, a joke gone to far as they say. He turned heel, quickly ended his feud with AJ and then moved on with Carmella but people stopped caring about him by then and see him as an annoying pest, even though he really doesn't do that much, despite being a regular heel manager. Personally, I thought Ellsworth was ok, beating AJ twice was fine but the 3rd time in that ladder match was once too many. Didn't hate him but just stopped caring about him and since he went with Carmella, nothing's changed for me. For some reason he seems to be hated a lot more than he really deserves smarks still mad that he beat AJ or whatever I guess.
The same people have been demanding this shitty wymymns revolution since the '4 horsewomen' began wrestling in NXT, or back when AJ and Paige were in the main roster. Made people bolieve that wymyns wrestling is an actual thing. Honestly, they're pretty much SJWs, they certainly act like them so there you go, wrestling is poisoned like other mediums of entertainment too.
As far as the womens MiTB controversy, it's smarks/SJWs getting assmad and getting worked so hard into a shoot, overly mad that things didn't go the way they planned, because they are the 'smart' fans and think they know everything so when things go differently, they get mad. Honestly, these kind of people don't know how to shut up and just enjoy wrestling, constantly thinking as if they are the ones writing the shit, analyzing 'workrate' and shit, not just sitting back and taking it all in.
