I'm a big Bullet Club mark so in a perfect world Kenneth Omegason (Kenny's WWE name if he sellsout) will win.
I wish the best for the bullet underlings too, especially Stardust.

cody for sure, just cause he's gotta tick off every indy box possible. Other than that I can't think of many surprises, maybe Christopher daniels? That'd be fucking awesome.

The bigger question is where this big boi is gonna take his excursion to. After seeing him debut as a young boy and following him these past few months he's already one of my favorite wrestlers.

You could pay for a NJPWworld subscription for the month to watch it, otherwise >>63860 has a link. Also http://taima.tv/r/wooo has a stream tonight as well, with english commentary, which has been real good as of late actually, but I think one of the alt streams has Japanese.

What autistic star rating did Meltzer give Okada vs Omega
No.63943

He liked this one even more than the WK one, just wait for a 7 star match
No.64123

He seems like a total mark for this, don't see how people can take his opinions seriously. Not entirely objective and his personal bias is clearly present.
No.64126
>>64123
People should just take him as a reliable source of news and nothing else, even as a new japan fan I notice he's full of shit with these ratings.

Am I weird for finding pic related to be MOTN? I even liked Naito/Tanahashi more than Okada/Omegay 2 six star boogaloo.
No.64371

The Okada and Omega feud needs some heat. I'm sick of Okada always saying "gg m8" after every match and Omega going on twitter and retweeting every mark who jacks off to him and his matches and claim he is the greatest wrestler of all time.

>People are working themselves caring so much about star ratings, not even Meltzer really cares that much
People care too much about a ratings system as a whole, even in other places. It tries to quantify a subjective product, so itself is not absolute, even though people take it as such. Smarks seem to think a 5 star match is what's important in wrestling and simply having that means you're doing good, which is why they obsess over ratings.

Youre right, anon. Though i think its particularly frustrating in wrestling because the fact that a match got 5/6 however many stars seems to overshadow the stories and builds to the match. Check dave meltzer's twitter and you'll see a million people talking about how other matches deserved more stars or this one deserved less but you hear nothing of the work in the matches and the characters involved.

Maybe meltzer intentionally broke his star system so people would start just enjoying matches for what they are instead of obsessing over the rating? Is this all part of an elaborate ruse to get people to just enjoy wrestling again?
