Seriously what is the hype about Finn Balor? His NJPW run is his most talked about run after his WWE one but even in Japan, he was in the super junior division, which is essentially their crusierweight division. So he mostly with the lighter guys, only occasionally wrestling the bigger ones. Heck, he's never even been a world champion in any indy promotion he's been in, the Universal title was his first one. He was the founder of the bullet club but they only became great once AJ Styles replaced him. So taking his NJPW run alone, why did WWE, Triple H & NXT mainly, promote him as this huge star when he never was one to begin with?
He was pushed to the moon in NXT, becoming the longest reigning champion (in an incredibly boring reign) and then pushed even further on the main roster. On his RAW debut, he opened the show, main evented it and was the first guy to truly beat Roman clean one on one (Rollins' win at MiTB had the referee knocked out, so it wasn't completely clean). Then a month later, he won the inaugural Universal Championship, becoming the first person to win the world title in their WWE PPV debut. Throughout that period and even now, he's been getting dead reactions from the crowd, so what does WWE see in him? In NXT and now, he doesn't seem to show much of a character at all. Even in the Demon King mode, all he does is paints himself up and crawls to the ring, but his wrestling style doesn't change at all, no point to it other than being new attire.
I'll say it again, he was never a big star in Japan, yet he was brought in and pushed as if he was some incredibly huge sensation over there. He hasn't proven himself in the WWE either to get all the hype he gets. What's the deal with this guy? If you throw him in the crusierweights, nobody except smarks would give a fuck. Neville is the same build as Finn so why does Neville get to be a crusierweight while Balor doesn't? At least Neville now has some character with him, more than what Finn has.
Triple H is a faggot, he turned WWE's developmental system into his own indy promotion and now the main roster also suffers because the big stars from the so called developmental system are all outside talent.
