Was this the best meme team to have ever existed?

Bullet Club is a better meme.

cheap nWo ripoff

I missed the part where the entire WWF roster joined D-X and pretended to be their own wrestling corporation within another, before half of them turned on each other and became D-Xtra.

Wonder if they'll make a new DX type stable that rebels against corporate Triple H. Though I guess a group of millennials 'rebelling' against authority would only protest a bit and just stick to the internet, creating petitions and circlejerk among themselves.

Cheap nWo ripoff? Since when did DX have a bunch of old 80's WWF superstars join their stable? LOL Both Hulk Hogan and Macho man already had bald spots, Dusty Rhodes was a part of the nWo and needed to be in a retirement home. LOL

Only faggots who weren't around or dicksucking WWE-fans would speak badly about the NWO-angle.

The NWO Wolfpac breakoff was great. Wolfpac was cool.

>Being mad about Hogan being in the biggest and most popular stable of all time, in the hottest angle of all time and most notably was the primary reason behind all of it.

>Thinks Macho Man was too old, when he still looked 10x the man than anyone of your faggy wrestlers today.

>Thinking there's an age-requirement on announcers.

Underaged kid, gtfo.

I was watching WCW for wrestlers like Sting, DDP, Eddie Guerrero, Chris Jericho, Chris Benoit and many other talents that the nWo was burying at the time. Of course I'm going to speak badly about the nWo, they're one of the main reasons WCW died. Has nothing to do with me being "mad". Also I'm 35 and I've been watching since the 80's. Only idiots think that burying younger talent in WCW is a good thing.

Mark, there's only two things that matter in this business.

>nWo was one of the main reasons WCW died

>nWo which created the wrestling boom of the 90s

If you're talking about later, then it was shit booking was always the case. First, it was Hogan, who simply had to always go over brother. Him turning heel was the ignition for the boom but after that, nobody really cared for him much, Scott Hall & Kevin Nash were the main guys that kept nWo cool, Hogan just tagged along them but still made himself the leader.

Then the nWo elite thing, with nWo wolfac and nWo hollywood joining could have worked out but injuries took place that year and the angle turned out unsuccessful. Next it was I think Russo who decided to reform the nWo with Jeff Jarrett but by then WCW was already in the coffin waiting to be buried.

>Guerrero and Benoit

They were overpaid and didn't draw shit in WCW, their WWE run was what made them great, especially Eddie who learnt to stop being a vanilla midget and created latino heat. Benoit never really learnt but he was still kinda over I guess because of his intensity in the ring.

I do have respect for Kevin Nash and Scott Hall. I just didn't care for the much older wrestlers that were in the nWo back in the 90's.

>>58192

Yes I was referring to the later years. As soon as Big Show and Chris Jericho left to the WWF, it was a countdown to WCW's demise. Many of the younger talent like Chris Jericho and Eddie Guerrero left WCW mainly because of how they were treated in WCW, getting buried by the nWo constantly. 1999 was the beginning of the end for WCW, their mistakes with how they treated younger talent, along with Russo joining WCW and the Warner/AOL merger were all signs leading to WCW's end. The nWo angle wasn't a bad idea, but the execution of the angle was terrible, it led to a lot of mistakes. Want to talk about overpaid? The majority of the nWo was overpaid. WCW did nothing with Bret Hart, he was paid 3 million dollars and he was a part of the nWo.

it was Goldberg who buried Jericho though, because "no one would bolieve this midget could beat me"

then a few years later he lost to Jericho in a legit fight

 No.58218

>>58215

He tried to pull the same shit on Steiner who could legit rip his arms off. Of course he didnt want to actually fight Steiner when he offered to.

>>58218

Jericho or Goldberg?

 No.58225

>>58215

To be fair, Goldberg was burying everyone. However it was Kevin Nash who ended Goldberg's "winning streak" and buried him.

 No.58227

>>58225

didn't he only win because Hall tasered Goldberg or something?

Another thing was that Jericho wanted to have a PPV match with Goldberg, saying 'it would be the greatest squash match of all time' but Goldberg bailed on the PPV to go shooting. It was one of the reasons why Jericho left WCW. Goldberg never really got the business, just there to make money and put a smile of kids face, kinda like Ultimate Warrior which I can still respect but unlike Warrior, Goldberg bought too much of his own hype and became a total mark for himself, never wanting to lose.
