This is an "out of the box" distribution based on Gentoo. Anyone have experience with it? Sabayon looks delicious.

I didn't like very much. Just install Gentoo and enable the sabayon overlay, if there is a package you can't get from Gentoo's repos

Sabayon replaces portage/emerge with exherbo. Run screaming.

Calculate Linux is what you're looking for. It's everything you've ever wanted from a Gentoo distribution, doesn't fork the portage tree (More like Antergos/LMDE than Manjaro/Ubuntu), lacks systemd, and installs in the same amount of time as Ubuntu.

It also has a Gnome2/Mate spin, with all the same goodness, but I prefer the standard KDE release, or Calculate "Scratch", which is their stripped-down desktop iso. Try it and learn why nobody is using Sabayon.
