Bet: Neuromorphic chips are inefficient and wastes resources when compared to traditional architectures.

Attended a talk hosted by IBM on this a year ago. This is sensationalist bullshit, it's machine learning all over again. It's a niche thing that will only be useful for a small amount of use cases, but like "muh deep learning algorithms", this will probably be shoehorned as the solution to everything.

none of what you describe is even possible with current hardware, bandwidth problem is not going to go away any time soon and hell we havent even properly solved it without huge sacrifices in modern hardware

Quantum computing requires heavy equipment to use. Neuromorphic processors can exist just fine in room temperature non vacuum environments and prototypes already exist. Enough with the false equivalencies

Turing completeness is not a requirement for being a computer. In fact the very computer you are using now can be entirely represented with a finite state automata.
