If you lose money from getting skimmed (or from identity theft) you should sue the bank for stealing your money. The whole reason banks came into existence is so people can hide their money with gunmen. Then they became so big they couldn't recognize their customers, yet they still claim to provide the same security as the original banks. They absolutely should be sued for making people lose money to this.
I agree though, I use cash, half my money is stored as cash, and I will probably never use a bank again once my bank account is depleted.
